Terms of Service

The terms and conditions for using our service.

Last updated: 2026-10-16

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

We provide a software-as-a-service platform. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

AI Models and Generated Content

Custom diagram generation currently calls DeepSeek through a server-side OpenAI-compatible interface to produce diagram layouts and SVG/HTML results. The workbench shows the exact model identifier currently in use under “AI model”; the default configuration is deepseek-flash, and the operator may change it as part of the service configuration. The current diagram generation flow does not call Flux, Seedream, Nano Banana (Gemini), GPT Image, Veo, or Kling. If model selection is added in the future, the workbench will list each available model by name before generation.

Model-assisted output may contain omissions, errors, or content that is unsuitable for a particular context. You must review the source, facts, and output before using, publishing, or relying on it, and you remain responsible for the content you upload or generate.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
  • Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Content Standards and Prohibited Categories

You may not use the service to generate, upload, edit, store, transform, or share any of the following. “Content” includes prompts, Mermaid/Draw.io/Excalidraw imports, generated results, and text in titles, descriptions, or share links. These restrictions apply to real, fictional, synthetic, stylized, and edited content:

  1. Pornography / NSFW — Explicit sexual acts, pornographic nudity, sexual services, content made primarily for sexual arousal, or attempts to evade these restrictions through transformation, compositing, or suggestive generation.
  2. Violence / gore — Graphic wounds, dismemberment, torture, abuse, or real-world harm as the main subject, as well as content that glorifies, encourages, or instructs real-world violence.
  3. Hate speech — Insults, dehumanization, incitement, violent threats, discriminatory propaganda, or distribution material targeting a protected characteristic or group.
  4. Child-safety violations (CSAM) — Any child sexual abuse material, sexualization or exploitation of minors, grooming, sexualized nudity involving minors, or requests to generate, edit, find, store, or distribute it. There are no exceptions for real, fictional, or synthetic content.
  5. Deepfakes / impersonation — Deceptive or non-consensual face swaps, voice cloning, impersonation of a person, organization, or public figure, fabricated endorsements or identities, or content designed to make people believe it came from the impersonated party.
  6. Copyright / trademark infringement — Unauthorized copying or adaptation of protected works, characters, media, fonts, trademarks, logos, or brand assets; removing watermarks or rights notices; or falsely implying authorization, partnership, or affiliation. You must have the rights needed for content and brand materials you submit.

Enforcement for Violations

Depending on severity, intent, history, and potential risk to others, we may:

  • warn about a low-risk or first violation, reject the generation request, and ask you to revise it;
  • take down, delete, restrict access to, or stop sharing prohibited prompts, imports, or generated results;
  • disable features, freeze credits, or suspend the account;
  • immediately suspend or ban accounts for repeated, malicious, severe, or urgent violations; and
  • retain necessary records and report to competent authorities or relevant safety organizations when legally required or when there is a serious real-world safety risk.

Measures may be taken separately or together. If you believe an action was mistaken, use the reporting channels below to provide additional context and request a review.

Reporting Channels

You can report prompts, imports, generated results, or account behavior that may violate these Terms:

  • Signed-in users: Open Settings → Support tickets, create a ticket whose title starts with “Content Report,” and include the result link or generation time, category, explanation, and any necessary screenshots or evidence.
  • If you cannot sign in or need to report by email: Email support@editorialdiagram.com with the subject “Content Report.” Email reports and support tickets are accepted through the same review process.

We accept reports in English or Chinese. After receiving a complete report, we generally acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and complete an initial review within 5 business days; complex cases receive a progress update within 10 business days. Reports involving child safety, imminent physical harm, or rapidly spreading high-risk content are prioritized. To protect privacy, we may not disclose the specific action taken against another account.

Platform Content Moderation

We handle content-safety issues through a risk-based process:

  1. Pre-generation checks: We apply rules and risk signals to the requested content and purpose. Requests that match a prohibited category may be rejected, rate-limited, or sent for additional review.
  2. Post-generation checks: Generated results may receive automated safety and integrity checks. Where appropriate, we may restrict display, export, sharing, or temporary storage. Automated checks cannot identify every violation, so users should still report suspected content.
  3. Report review: We review reported content using the report, relevant input/output, account activity, and history; we may ask the reporter for more information when needed.
  4. Action and appeal: We apply measures such as warnings, deletion, suspension, or bans based on the review and, where appropriate, notify the reporting party. An affected user may submit supporting material or an appeal through a support ticket.

Reporting Abuse

Do not knowingly submit false reports, harass other users, or use the reporting channel to evade ordinary account or content review. Abuse of the reporting channel may itself result in a warning, rate limit, suspension, or ban.

Payment and Billing

Paid features are billed in advance for the selected billing period. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in line with our refund policy.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
